In December 2020, we redesigned our website, and I am excited to share our continued commitment to advocacy by providing our website in Spanish.
Making our website available in Spanish helps individuals get the information they need, learn about their taxpayer rights, read updates on the IRS, discover what TAS can do to assist taxpayers, find available resources, get tax news and information, learn about Low Income Taxpayer Clinics, read important information in my blog, and navigate the IRS by using our digitally interactive Taxpayer Roadmap, all in a way they can easily understand and identify with.
Website visitors on both the English and Spanish sites can toggle back and forth between English and Spanish using the “English” or “Español” link in the upper righthand corner of every page on the website. As we begin 2022, the Taxpayer Advocate Service is committed to providing enhanced products and services to assist you with your tax-related issues. I want to give a special shout out and thank you to our team members for their efforts and hard work in providing web access to our Spanish-speaking community.
We are proud of this accomplishment and will continue to make future enhancements to better serve all taxpayers.
